About Tara Polymers

A manufacturer of Anti-Moisture Powder and Desiccant Masterbatch, making them in Jodhpur and supplying recyclers and processors across India and overseas.

Our Story

Tara Polymers is a manufacturer specialising in moisture control for plastics. We make moisture-control additives for the processors and recyclers who run PE and PP, where a small amount of trapped water is enough to spoil an otherwise good part. We are the polymer division of Tara Minerals & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., an industrial group that has been active since 1989, and we bring the same manufacturing discipline it built in industrial minerals and chemicals to everything we make.

That focus is deliberate. Moisture control is not a sideline for us. Every bit of experience we gain goes straight back into the Anti-Moisture Powder and Desiccant Masterbatch you receive. The powder is made in four grades, so its strength can be matched to the feed you actually run, and the masterbatch does the same job in pellet form for lines that prefer to dose it that way. It is a chemistry we have chosen to know deeply, not a product we simply stock.

Everything is made at our own facility in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where every batch is checked against its grade card before it is cleared to leave. It is what keeps the material honest over time: what you approve on a trial sample is what keeps arriving later, at the same strength and behaving the same way on your line. That is the promise we hold to, batch after batch, for recyclers and processors across India.

Mission & Vision

What we work towards

Our Mission

To help processors keep moisture from spoiling good material, so more of what they make leaves the floor as a finished part. We create Anti-Moisture Powder and Desiccant Masterbatch that suit your feed and run smoothly on your line, supported by a trial sample and helpful dosing guidance before you commit.

Our Vision

To be the moisture-control partner that plastics processors in India and overseas turn to first, trusted for material that performs consistently, batch after batch, and for service that stays warm, honest and straightforward as we grow.

How We Work

What you can expect from us

Our focus, fully yours

Moisture control in plastics is our speciality. Everything we learn goes back into the material you receive, so the one thing that matters to your line always has our full attention.

Easy to work with

Clear pricing, honest communication and reliable dispatch, with no surprises along the way. We want every order you place with us to feel effortless.

A sample before you commit

Tell us about your line and the problem you are solving. We will recommend a grade, suggest a starting dose and send a trial sample to run on your own machine, so you can move ahead with confidence.

Answers you can trust

Which grade, how much, and how a defect traces back to moisture. Ask us anything, and you will always get a clear, honest answer.

How It Is Made

From raw material to loading bay

Every batch we ship passes through the same stages at our Jodhpur facility.

Raw Material

Our raw material is selected and checked for reactivity and purity before it enters the process.

Milling

Milled to a fine, controlled particle size so the absorber disperses evenly and will not choke an extruder screen.

Coating & Compounding

Surface-coated to cut dusting and extend shelf life. For Desiccant Masterbatch, the absorber is compounded and pelletised onto a polyethylene carrier.

Packing

Anti-Moisture Powder and Desiccant Masterbatch both go into 1 kg pouches packed in 25 kg PP bags.

Dispatch

From Jodhpur to recyclers and processors across India, and for export.

Quality Assurance

How we keep quality consistent

Every batch is made to a defined specification and dispatched only once it meets it. The specification for each grade is set out in its Technical Data Sheet, and we hold to it batch after batch. All three documents are available on request.

Certificate of Analysis
Test results for the batch you receive.
Technical Data Sheet
Grade properties, applications and dosage.
Safety Data Sheet
Hazard, storage and handling information.

Tell us about your process. We’ll recommend the grade that fits.
