An off-white high-activity desiccant powder that binds the moisture in virgin and recycled PE and PP as the material heats, before it can turn to steam, preventing silver streaks, pinholes, bubbles and voids in the finished part.
Anti-Moisture Powder is an off-white, free-flowing high-activity desiccant powder. Plastic resins, especially recycled and reprocessed material, absorb moisture from the air, and when the melt heats up that water flashes to steam and ruins the part, leaving silver streaks and splay, pinholes, bubbles and voids. It is an industrial additive that goes into the resin on your production line.
Blended into the resin before it enters the line, Anti-Moisture Powder chemically binds that water so the plastic melts cleanly, often with no separate drying stage. It works with virgin and recycled PE and PP on injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding lines, and comes in four grades matched to how wet and inconsistent your feed is.
